SUPPORT THE FOLKS WHO
SUPPORT THE ANIMALS!
Here's a great example and a no-brainer - Bone Appetit! You go out to eat, right?...so why not go to the best restaurants in town who, on certain days/nights, donate part of their proceeds to Good Shepherd.
We post the names of participating restaurants - like The Mudd Street Cafe, Lovin' Oven, Pizza Bar, and 302 on the Square in Berryville - in our newsletter, on our webite and on our street-side sign at the Eureka Springs Thrift Store.
We have lots of local businesses that give the Good Shepherd a ton of support. We'd appreciate it if you would do business with them...because we all benefit!
DONATE
From the little boy who stuck $5 in our mailbox to help us out during the spring 2009 ice storm.....to the major funder who is able to write a large check.....EVERY contribution.....EVERY effort to support the animals is extremely important and appreciated.
JOIN OUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Sponsor a specific event, need, improvement or item for the shelter with a minimum tax deductible donation of $350.
For example: Sponsor a kennel upgrade...
Sponsor one of or events like
the Animal House Gala or Picnic...
Help us raise much needed funds to
build a quarantine facility...
Contribute to our spay & neuter fund so we
can reduce the number of unwanted pets...
Your contribution will help us buy medicine
for special needs cats, kittens, dogs and puppies...
Help us buy milk for bottle babies...
These are just a few suggestions - we have a long list of opportunities for you to help. And as a member of our Circle of Friends, you'll receive special recognition at the shelter and in our newsletters.
SHOP AT THE DOGGIE THRIFT STORES
There's nothing better than giving and receiving at the same time! That's what you get when you shop at one of our thrift stores. You get incredible deals on fabulous items ranging from clothes to furniture...and you SAVE - not only money - but you'll help us save an animal's life!
Donate to the Thrift Stores, too! Your donation is tax deductible and will help us generate operating incom for the shelter.
Check out our Thrift Store page for more information.
VOLUNTEER
We consider volunteers one of our most valuable assets (after the animals, of course!). Together, we can further animal welfare and humane education throughout of community and Carroll County. Check out our Volunteer page for more information and ideas on how you can help.
LEAVE A LEGACY
Remember us in your financial planning. Endowment gifts provide a long-term source of support for the animals. Let us know if we can provide any information for you or your financial plan manager to help identify the benefits of legacy giving.
